  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. molasses
  • 1 1/2 tsp. saltpetre
  • 3 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cayenne
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 qt. water
