Instructions
- Break up the sponge cake or ladyfingers and spread with jam. Place in the bottom of glass dish (large).
- Arrange fruit on top of sponge cake; set aside.
- Make Jell-O; allow to cool a little, not yet firm, then spoon gently over sponge cake so that the Jell-O penetrates the sponge cake.
- Put dish into the refrigerator; Jell-O needs to be set firm.
- Meanwhile, make custard; allow to cool but not set, then spoon over the already set Jell-O.
- Just before serving, spoon over the set custard the La Creme or whipped cream and decorate.
