Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 trout, skinned off the bones
  • 4 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 to 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 c. onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Boil cabbage just to soften; cut onions, peppers, mushrooms and potatoes.
  2. Cut trout by slicing off of bone.
  3. Combine all ingredients into tinfoil.
  4. Add butter on top and any seasonings. Fold up tinfoil package and place on broiler or barbecue.
  5. Cook for 1/2 hour or until vegetables are done.
  6. Serves 3 to 4 people.
