Turtle Fudge Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate pudding cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 lb. caramels
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. broken pecans
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Mix cake mix by box directions.
  2. Pour 1/2 the batter into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
  4. Melt butter, caramels and evaporated milk together; pour over cake, then sprinkle on chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. Pour remaining batter on top.
  6. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes (no longer).
  7. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
