Turtles(Microwave)

Instructions
- Arrange pecans on a sheet of wax paper with 4 long halves for legs and 1 short half for head of each turtle.
- On a buttered plate, arrange 6 caramels evenly around edge.
- Microwave at High for 15 to 30 seconds or until caramels are soft but not melted. Keep warm.
- Press caramels down firmly over nuts and quickly form into turtle shapes.
- Set aside.
- In a bowl mix chips and shortening.
- Cover and microwave on Medium for 2 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes until chips are soft, stirring well after each minute. Frost turtles with chocolate.
- Arrange on wax paper and let set until cool.
