Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 small pkg. raisins
  • 1/2 c. chopped olives
  • mashed potatoes (enough for 4 persons)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • beef bouillon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground meat and onions; when well done, add chopped eggs, raisins and chopped olives, bouillon (1 cup) or hot water and let simmer for approximately 1/2 hour.
  2. Most liquid will be absorbed.
  3. Transfer to greased casserole; cover with mashed potatoes and bake in medium oven (350°) for half hour.
  4. You can brush top of potatoes with beaten egg yolk to get a golden color.
