Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. mint extract

Instructions

  1. Cook sugar and water until they reach soft-ball stage at 238° F.
  2. Pour the hot syrup onto a greased marble slab and let it cool slightly.
  3. When cool enough to handle, work the mixture with a wooden paddle until it becomes creamy.
  4. Cut the candy into small pieces and allow to cool completely before serving.
