Brian'S Brownies
Rich and fudgy brownies with a chocolate and pecan topping, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and suitable for gatherings or as a decadent treat.

Instructions
- Melt 1/2 cup butter and 4 squares of baking chocolate over low heat in a heavy saucepan. Cool.
- Stir in sugar.
- Add 4 eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add sifted flour, salt, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla; mix well.
- Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 15-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or just until firm. Do not overbake.
- Melt remaining 1/2 cup butter and 1 square of chocolate over low heat in a heavy saucepan.
- Stir in powdered sugar, blending well. Remove from heat.
- Add the remaining egg, vanilla, and lemon juice.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Spread frosting over warm brownies.
