Vanilla Meringues

Ingredients

  • 4 None egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 drops pink food coloring
  • 1 tbsp sprinkles, to decorate

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk egg whites to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar, beating until sugar is dissolved and mixture is thick and glossy. Beat in vanilla and food coloring. Using 2 spoons, push heaped tablespoons of mixture onto trays. Top with sprinkles. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Turn off oven. Let cool in oven with the door ajar.
