Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. blanched, finely ground almonds

Instructions

  2. Break off a small chunk, a spoonful of dough.
  3. Roll the dough into a ball between the palms of your hands.
  4. Flatten the ball into a round shape with fine, cracked edges.
  5. Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet and press a design into the top if desired.
  6. Bake at 325°F for about 25 minutes or until golden in color.
