Ingredients

  • 2 lb veal (stewing is best)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tsp paprika pepper
  • 1 or 2 small tomatoes or tomato puree
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp fat

Instructions

  1. Wash the veal and cut it into large squares.
  2. Put two tablespoons of fat in a pan and heat.
  3. Dice the onions finely and add them to the fat, stirring until soft.
  4. Add two teaspoons of red paprika pepper and stir once.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Put the meat into the pan, along with the chopped fresh tomatoes or tomato puree.
  7. Add a little water to barely cover the meat and stew under a lid, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add more water if necessary until the meat is tender.
  9. Optionally, add cream before serving according to taste.
