Ingredients

  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • corn meal
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Mix corn meal and salt and pepper to taste; add flour.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Cut desired vegetables into 2 or 3-inch strips.
  4. Roll vegetables into the coating mixture.
  5. Fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve with ketchup or salad dressing.
