Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Caramelize the sugar and pour it into the small dish to form a caramel layer.
  2. Beat together eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and sugar until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the caramel in the dish.
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 350°F, covered with foil.
  5. Uncover the dish during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  6. Remove from oven and refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve with small cups of strong black coffee.
