Venison In Beer

Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. roast
  • 3/4 to 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 12 oz. beer
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. boiling water

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the roast. Secure bacon around the meat with toothpicks and place in crock-pot. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add onion, bay leaves, bouillon and beer to the crock-pot. Cook for 4 to 5 hours.
