Ingredients

  • pieces of venison, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • bacon
  • 2 c. water
  • salt
  • lots of pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into strips and wrap each piece around a cube of venison, securing with a toothpick. Prepare about 24 bacon-wrapped pieces.
  2. Place the bacon-wrapped venison into a skillet, add water, salt, and lots of pepper.
  3. Bring the mixture to a rapid boil until the water is almost gone.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and continue cooking until the meat is browned, about 20 to 25 minutes.
