Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Duncan Hines white cake mix
  • creamy lemon frosting
  • 2 Tbsp. peach preserves
  • 1 Tbsp. hot water
  • 2 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Using 8-inch round layer cake pans, mix, bake, and cool the cake as directed on the package.
  2. Spread frosting between the cake layers and on the sides of the cake.
  3. Combine peach preserves and hot water, then brush the mixture over the top of the cake.
  4. Press chopped pecans into the frosting on the sides of the cake.
