Ingredients

  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups scalded milk
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar, and salt.
  2. Slowly stir in boiling water until well blended.
  3. Pour in scalded milk, stirring constantly.
  4. Over medium-low heat, heat the mixture until tiny bubbles form around the edges.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  7. Beat until foamy before serving.
