- Fill a glass jar with violet blossoms.
- Cover the violets with boiling water.
- Put the lid on the jar and let the blossoms infuse for 24 hours.
- Open the jar and strain the blue infusion, discarding the spent violets.
- Measure out 2 cups of the infusion and add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 package of Sure-Jell.
- Bring the mixture just to a boil and immediately add sugar.
- Bring back to a boil and boil hard for 1 minute.
- Pour the hot jelly into sterilized jars or glasses and seal.
