- Peel cucumbers, slice and sprinkle with salt.
- Let stand 24 hours.
- Drain well.
- Slice onions, pour boiling water over them and let stand for 24 hours.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Cook these with cucumbers and onions 20 minutes.
