Walnut Torta
Ingredients
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks plus 2 whole eggs well.
- Add whiskey and sugar. Beat well for 3 minutes with an electric mixer.
- Remove from mixer and fold in walnuts.
- Fold in flour and toast.
- Add vanilla. Beat egg whites with a dash of salt and cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
- Now fold egg yolk mixture into whites.
- Mix.
- Pour into pan and bake for 55 minutes at 350°.
