Ingredients

  • 1/2 bushel tomatoes
  • 1 pkg. mild salsa mix (optional)
  • 2 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 2 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 2 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 5 red hot peppers, chopped

Instructions

  1. Wash tomatoes; dip in boiling water for 1/2 minute to loosen skin.
  2. Dip into cold water; drain.
  3. Core, peel and quarter tomatoes and remove seeds if you want to (I didn't).
  4. Chop into 1/2-inch pieces.
