Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 small can evaporated milk
  • 7 ounces coconut

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter.
  2. Add the sugar and stir until combined.
  3. Pour in the evaporated milk and stir slowly until well mixed.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil and maintain a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the coconut.
  6. Allow to cool to the desired consistency before pouring over cake.
