Warm Honey Cider

Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup Honey Lemon Syrup, recipe follows
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Add the apple cider to a medium saucepan and bring to a light simmer.
  2. Stir in the Honey Lemon Syrup and lemon juice.
  3. Divide into 2 mugs and serve hot.
  4. Add honey, 1 cup water and the lemon zest to a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  5. Stir and lightly simmer for 25 minutes.
  6. Squeeze in the lemon juice, and then remove from the heat.
  7. Remove the lemon zest and cool completely before using.
