Ingredients

  • 4 cups Kix cereal
  • 1 cup Spanish peanuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup dried banana chips
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flaked coconut

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix Kix cereal, Spanish peanuts, raisins, and dried banana chips in an ungreased jelly roll pan.
  3. Heat margarine and honey until melted.
  4. Stir in cinnamon and salt.
  5. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal mixture and toss until coated.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
  7. Stir in flaked coconut; let stand for 5 minutes.
  8. Loosen the mixture from the pan and transfer to a serving dish.
  9. Sprinkle with additional salt if desired.
