Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/2 lb. potatoes
  • garlic powder
  • seasoning salt
  • paprika
  • black pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak charcoal for 15 minutes before lighting.
  2. Separate coals into two sections for circular cooking.
  3. Light the coals and let them get hot.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, seasoning salt, paprika, and black pepper all over the chicken and rub in.
  5. Stuff the chicken with quartered potatoes.
  6. Place the chicken on the edge of the rack over the coals.
  7. Cover and cook until the chicken is tender.
