- Dissolve slacked lime in water in a large kettle.
- Add dry white corn kernels and boil for 30 minutes or until hulls loosen.
- Let stand for 30 minutes.
- Wash the corn in cold water until dark tips of kernels are removed.
- Rinse again until the water is clean.
- Use in Posoli or other recipes.
