Ingredients

  • 1 gal. water
  • 2 gal. wild cherries
  • 4 lb. white sugar

Instructions

  1. Put all cherries through a meat grinder, then add water and sugar.
  2. Ferment in a stoneware container for 20 days.
  3. Strain; add more sugar if needed.
  4. Ferment for another 3 weeks before serving.
