Ingredients

  • 8 medium yams, cooked and peeled
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. margarine or butter
  • 3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Mash hot yams in large bowl with milk, salt and pepper. Spread some of the butter (about 5 tablespoons) over bottom and side of a 6 1/2 cup ring mold.
