Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy saucepan, heat the crushed canned tomatoes until boiling. Remove from heat.
  2. Add the baking soda, milk, and butter or margarine to the tomatoes.
  3. Return to heat and cook on medium until the butter is melted and the soup is heated through.
