Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 stick margarine
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix together in a large saucepan the sugar, cocoa, milk, margarine, and salt and bring to a boil.
  2. Boil exactly 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and add the oats, coconut, nuts, and vanilla.
  4. Quickly stir and drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper.
