- Mix together in a large saucepan the sugar, cocoa, milk, margarine, and salt and bring to a boil.
- Boil exactly 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the oats, coconut, nuts, and vanilla.
- Quickly stir and drop by teaspoonfuls on waxed paper.
