4 Layer Raspberry Cake

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow or white cake mix
- 1 8 oz package of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam ⓘ
Instructions
- Mix the cake according to the package directions, adding the almond flavoring.
- Divide the batter evenly and pour into two greased 8-inch round pans.
- Bake in a preheated oven at the temperature specified on the cake mix box until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely in the pans on wire racks.
- Spread the seedless raspberry jam onto one of the cooled cake layers.
- Place the second cake layer on top of the jam layer.
- Frost or fill with cream cheese as desired, then assemble the layers to complete the cake.
