Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 12 maraschino cherries
  • 2 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 c. sour milk
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a Bundt pan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Remove from heat and while hot, sprinkle brown sugar all around the pan.
  4. Place maraschino cherries all around the pan and set aside.
  5. Mix Bisquick according to package instructions using 2 cups of mix and 1/2 cup of sour milk.
  6. Form the mixture into balls.
  7. Mix melted 3 tablespoons of butter, sugar, and nuts (if using).
  8. Roll dough balls in the butter-sugar mixture and place in the prepared pan to form a circle.
  9. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top of the dough balls.
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  11. Invert onto a plate and serve.
