Ingredients

  • 1 layer raw sliced potatoes
  • 1 layer ground beef, browned
  • 1/2 cup Minute rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 layer sliced onions
  • 1 layer peas or green beans
  • 1 can tomatoes with juice
  • sliced cheese

Instructions

  1. Layer raw sliced potatoes in the casserole dish.
  2. Add a layer of browned ground beef over the potatoes.
  3. Sprinkle half a cup of Minute rice evenly over the beef.
  4. Add a layer of sliced onions on top.
  5. Place peas or green beans as the next layer.
  6. Pour canned tomatoes with juice over the layers.
  7. Top with sliced cheese and bacon slices.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until golden and cooked through.
