Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 6 eggs, beaten in one at a time

Instructions

  1. Grease tube pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Pour into pan.
  4. Put in cold oven at 300°.
  5. Cook for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
  6. Cool upside-down on bottle.
  7. Remove from pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with chocolate icing.
