Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon extract
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 Tbsp. warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix salt, soda and water in small cup.
  2. Add to remaining ingredients; mix well.
  3. Bake in greased Bundt pan at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
