Ingredients

  • 1 c. blanched slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c. chocolate (milk or semi-sweet; optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut a 1-foot length of aluminum foil; lay on a heatproof surface and butter it evenly (butter, margarine or nonstick spray work equally well).
