A refreshing almond lemonade with a citrusy flavor, hints of vanilla and almond, perfect for summer gatherings or a cool treat on warm days.

Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz.) cans Minute Maid lemonade
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 cans water
  • 1 quart ginger ale or 7-Up
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons almond extract
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix lemonade with 4 cans of water, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the remaining 4 cans of water with the sugar until the water is clear and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add the heated water and sugar mixture to the lemonade mixture and refrigerate.
  4. Just before serving, add ginger ale or 7-Up to the mixture.
