Amazing Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 c. pumpkin (fresh is best)
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients in the order given.
  2. Pour into pie shells. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to 350° for 45 minutes or until the pies are done.
  4. After pies are cool, top with whipped cream.
  5. This recipe makes 2 pies.
