Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 2 boxes vanilla pudding (instant)
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Make the yellow cake according to the package directions and bake in a greased and floured jelly roll pan.
  2. While the cake is slightly warm, spread the crushed pineapple evenly over the top.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, vanilla pudding mix, and milk, then beat until thick.
  5. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  6. Top with whipped topping.
  7. Sprinkle with finely chopped nuts or coconut, if desired.
  8. Chill the cake before serving.
