- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Blend in butter and slowly add 2/3 cup of the milk to which vanilla has been added.
- Beat for 3 minutes and add remaining milk and eggs.
- Beat for an additional 3 minutes.
- Fill 12 greased and floured 3-inch cupcake tins 1/2 full.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Yields 12 cupcakes.
