Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. Add salt and vanilla, then fold in chopped nuts.
  3. Drop spoonfuls onto a foil-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F, then turn off and let stand overnight.
  5. If not completely dried, preheat oven again and dry further.
