Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 stick oleo (butter or margarine)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Mix peeled and sliced apples with sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Put the apple mixture into a baking dish.
  3. Combine oleo, 3/4 cup sugar, flour, and grated cheese to make the topping.
  4. Mix the topping well by hand.
  5. Sprinkle the topping over the apples and pat down gently.
  6. Bake at 350°F until bubbly and brown.
