Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 cups Bisquick
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons oleo or butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced pared apples
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup dairy sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a 9 x 9-inch square pan.
  3. Mix Bisquick, 3 tablespoons sugar, melted oleo or butter, and milk until well combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  5. Arrange the sliced pared apples on top of the batter.
  6. Mix together 1/4 cup sugar and ground cinnamon.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and egg until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the sour cream mixture over the top of the cake.
  10. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are light brown.
