Ingredients

  • 6 tart apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 two-layer pie crust

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples.
  2. Remove the cores from the apples.
  3. Cut the apples into small pieces.
  4. Place the cut apples into a mixing bowl.
  5. Add cinnamon, flour, and sugar to the apples and mix well.
  6. Fill one pie shell with the apple mixture.
  7. Cover with the second pie crust.
  8. Poke a few holes in the top crust to allow hot air to escape.
  9. Bake for 1 hour until the crust is light brown.
