Ingredients

  • 8 cups apples, cut up
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Put apples in a 13 x 9-inch pan, heaping up in the middle.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients and butter until crumbly.
  3. Pour the dry mixture on top of the apples.
  4. Sprinkle with orange juice over the top.
  5. Bake at 350°F, uncovered, for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
