Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. diced apples (preferably Golden Delicious apples)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. soda

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar,
  2. oil, eggs and diced apples.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Sift together remaining ingredients and add to apple mixture.
  5. Pour ingredients into a 9 x 13-inch greased cake pan and bake for one hour in preheated oven at 350°.
