Ingredients

  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. soft butter

Instructions

  1. Mix real good.
  2. Fry in electric skillet in very little grease to look like a small pancake (about the size of a jar lid). Spread jelly on them or eat alone.
  3. These are made for afternoon teas in Australia.
  4. Makes good snacks hot or cold.
