A hearty taco casserole featuring seasoned ground beef, creamy soups, beans, and melted cheese layered with crunchy Doritos, perfect for a flavorful family meal or casual gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 7 oz. mild taco sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can kidney beans, crushed
  • 12 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large package Doritos

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger and chopped onion, then drain.
  2. Add taco sauce and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat the cream of mushroom and chicken soups together.
  4. Layer a 9 x 13-inch pan with Doritos, half of the meat mixture, half of the kidney beans, and half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering, omitting the second layer of cheese.
  6. Pour the soups over everything and top with the remaining cheese.
  7. Place Doritos along the sides of the pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
