A gentle milk-based formula designed for baby rabbits, combining evaporated milk, egg yolk, and supportive foods to nourish young bunnies in their early stages.

Ingredients

  • evaporated milk, diluted half and half with water
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Add egg yolk to diluted evaporated milk and water mixture.
  2. Feed 1 to 1.5 teaspoons per feeding.
  3. Feed the rabbit 4 to 6 times per day, approximately every 3 hours from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  4. Once the rabbit gets teeth, introduce rabbit pellets, fruit, carrots, grass, and V-8 juice.
  5. If the bunny will not eat due to shock, administer 0.5 to 1.0 mg of cortisone twice a week for a 4-ounce rabbit.
  6. Keep the rabbit in a furry nest material at 80°F.
