Instructions
- Melt margarine and spread to coat sides and bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Peel and core the apples.
- Soak the apples in water to which lemon juice has been added for 1 hour.
- Drain the apples.
- Mix cinnamon, brown sugar, and chopped walnuts.
- Place the apples in the baking pan.
- Cover the apples with the cinnamon sugar walnut mixture.
- Bake covered at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serve warm.
